David grew up in a Christian home, the middle child of five. The truth and grace of God was daily lived out through his parents’ lives and from an early age David understood a strong sense of God’s calling to minister the Gospel. While a teenager, music became an unexpected but welcomed part of his life. Learning to play guitar and other instruments, music quickly became a special time and place where David began to enjoy a deeper fellowship with the Lord. Through these times, a special sense of the purpose for music in the life of believers resulted and ultimately led him toward the path of leading worship.
David has been leading worship for over ten years, leading groups both small and large. His passion and energy for God’s Word is evident in his expository style of worship as he desires to edify the worshiper with God’s truth. Along with his desire to lead others into a deeper experience with Christ through song, David also loves people; getting to know a person's story, taking the time to share one another’s burdens and sorrows, victories and joys, is paramount to the edification of God’s people and to the fulfillment of the Church. When the Spirit of God draws his people unto Himself through the word, worship, and community, God is truly able to change the heart and mind of His beloved creation.
